私は3.11で一瞬にして街が消え去るのを前にしました。それと同時に変わり果てたその場所を立て直そうとする試みやそれ故に存在する暴力性も目にしてきました。私たちの営みに内在する豊かさや暴力性はこれからどこへ向かうのか。そんな事を考えながら作品を制作しています。 I witnessed the complete transformation of my city on 3/11. At the same time, I have witnessed the attempts to rebuild the place that has been transformed, and the violence that exists because of it. 1995年宮城県生まれ。自身が持つ3.11の経験から社会の脆さや危うさ、また対峙する社会と自然の構造に興味を持つ。彫刻作品やインステレーション作品を手掛ける。 Born in Miyagi prefecture in 1995. Shushi's own experience of Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami in 2011 has led to an interest in the fragility and danger of society as well as how society and nature confront each other. He works with sculpture and installation.
