object painting/NFT#01

私が制作している〈object painting〉は、特定のメディウムを持たない作品です。 キャンバスであればアクリル絵の具で、建築物の壁面であれば水性ウレタン塗料で描き、公共のオブジェクトであればラッピングシールで、CDジャケットには紙にプリントするなど、支持体の性質に合わせてメディウムを選択し、イメージを描きます。 蓄積された全ての〈object painting〉は、私の中で無限に広がっている風景の一部であり、窓から見た外の景色のように、風景をトリミングする感覚で制作しています。 今回、私にとって初めてのNFTアート作品になります。今まで印刷データや映像作品の素材として、デジタルイメージを描いてきましたが、 NFTではより純粋な形でデジタルデータを作品化できる可能性を感じています。〈object painting/NFT#01〉と〈object painting/mono/NFT#01〉は、ATAMI ART GRANT2024で、壁画制作のためのドローイングを、NFT専用にブラッシュアップした作品になります。 今後、〈object painting〉は様々な形で表現され続けます。この機会に、NFTという形で、「風景」の一部を所有してみてはいかがでしょうか。 ※この作品は、「object painting/mono/NFT#01」のNFTデータが、後日追加でウォレットへ配布されます。 My "object painting" series involves artworks that do not adhere to a specific medium. On canvas, I use acrylic paint; on architectural walls, water-based urethane paint; on public objects, wrapping decals; and on CD jackets, printed paper. Each medium is selected to match the properties of the support, allowing me to render the images accordingly. All my "object paintings" cumulatively represent parts of an endlessly expanding landscape within me, created with the sensation of cropping scenes, much like the view seen through a window. This is my first foray into NFT art. Although I have previously created digital images for print data and video materials, NFTs present an opportunity to materialize digital data in a more pure form. "object painting/NFT#01" and "object painting/mono/NFT#01" are works initially designed for mural creation at ATAMI ART GRANT2024, now refined specifically for NFTs. Going forward, "object painting" will continue to be expressed in various forms. 1993年、東京都生まれ。東京都在住。2019年に東京芸術大学日本画専攻を卒業後、同大学大学院修了。日本画の技法、材料研究、古典絵巻の模写などの経験を起点に、幾何学体とグラデーションで平面構成されたイメージを用いて、様々なオブジェクト、場所、文化と調和するような絵画、インスタレーションを制作している。 Born in Tokyo, in 1993, Tajiri completed his BA in Japanese painting at Tokyo University of the arts, and went on to complete his MA at the same university. Using his experience in Japanese painting, material research and copying classical picture scrolls as a starting point, he creates paintings and installations that harmonise with various objects, places and cultures, using flat images composed with geometric shapes and gradations.
