人間は正体のよくわからないものに対して、恐怖心を覚える性質を持っている。植物に覆われた何かは不気味な装いをしている。 土地を開き、家を建て、住むものを失い、植物が覆う。大きな時間の中で、人と自然の境界線が常に揺れ動く。 本制作の種となるイメージを表現した。 ※この作品は、映像データ作品になります。9/16以降に、ウォレット内で映像データへ変換されます。 Humans inherently feel fear towards things of unknown nature. Something covered in plants wears a sinister guise. As we clear land, build homes, and eventually abandon them, plants take over. In the grand passage of time, the boundary between humans and nature continuously shifts. アーティスト。BA Fine Art, Chelsea Collage of Art and Design 卒業。自然界に向ける人間の眼差しを通して、人間とは何かを考察している。「生と死」「善と悪」など裏表にあるように見える二元性の境界の曖昧さを、空間に紙と立体物などを構成して表現する。 Artist. Hayasaki completed her BA in Fine Art from Chelsea College of Art and Design. Through the human gaze on the natural world, Hayasaki examines human what makes us human. She expresses the blurring of the boundaries between life and death, good and evil, and other seemingly opposed dualities using paper and three-dimensional objects.
